Lionel Messi Highest Paid Footballer in the World; Cristiano Ronaldo Comes in Second



The 31-years old Argentinian is the best paid player in the world earning a mind blowing £7.3 million per month before tax, it's the double of what his rival Cristiano Ronaldo earns in Italy.


French newspaper L'Equipe recently published the yearly salary report of top 10 most paid footballers without tax.




According to report, five of most paid players are in Spain with four others, two each from England and  France where Italy has only one representative on the list.




Messi, who is mostly considered the be the greatest footballer of all time, by signing a new contract with Barcelona in 2017 Messi has surpassed Ronaldo.
